INTRODUCTION
Shelfie is a multimedia tracking app designed to help users organize, track, and manage different forms of media in one centralized platform. The project focused on creating a clean and user-friendly experience that allows users to keep track of movies, shows, games, books, and other media while maintaining an engaging and visually organized interface. The app emphasized accessibility, intuitive navigation, and modern design principles to make media management simple and efficient for users with diverse entertainment interests.
DESIGNING METHOD
For Shelfie, the design process combined research, wireframing, and visual development to create a clean and intuitive multimedia tracking experience. I began by planning the user flow and interface structure in Figma, focusing on accessibility, navigation, and usability to ensure users could easily organize and track different forms of media. Adobe Illustrator was used to develop custom icons, branding assets, and scalable interface elements that supported a cohesive visual identity, while Photoshop was used for image editing, mockups, and refining visual details throughout the project.
The overall design method emphasized consistency, modern UI principles, and iterative refinement to create a polished and user-friendly application experience.
FINAL PERFORMANCE
The final outcome of Shelfie was a fully developed multi media tracking app concept that successfully combined functionality with a clean, modern user interface. The project delivered a cohesive design system that made it easy for users to browse, organize, and manage different types of media in one place. Through the use of Figma for layout and prototyping, Illustrator for iconography and scalable assets, and Photoshop for visual refinement and mockups, the final product achieved strong visual consistency and usability. Overall, Shelfie demonstrated an effective balance between aesthetic design and practical user experience, resulting in a polished and intuitive application concept.
